We all know that Bush is the oil man.
I am so happy he is out of office. I have to admit, I wasn't a 100% Obama Mama. I would have rather it had been Clinton but you will hear no complaints from me. Gas prices are down. Let's hope they stay down.
I live in a shopping mecca and still we struggle to find work. It's unfortunate but maybe with the decrease in gas prices there will be an increase in demand in other areas which will stimulate the economy.
For those of you who are strapped, hold on tight, we will make it through. I feel the pressure of lack of funds daily, as I have children who have needs. School activities, diapers, clothes...those are only a few things that I struggle with.
I think as the year goes on, despite what the economists say, we may see things get a little brighter. Jobs are scarce, true. It will be a long time before we have a surplus of money in the national budget. I still have hope. Obama has given me some hope.
God Bless!!!
I am revamping my blog to dedicate it to helping turn the lives of people around in any way I can. I want to help raise awareness to domestic violence, slavery and teaching our youth better ways of living.

Obama's Blue Print for Change
Finally I have found the link to Obama's campaign information. Hopefully you all will read this and make a more informed decision on who to vote for. http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/ObamaBlueprintForChange.pdf
One thing is for sure...if you are thinking that voting for McCain is a better choice (especially for women's rights) think again. He is Republican. I urge everyone to not set us back fifty years by putting this guy into office. We need reproductive freedoms. As for those of you less informed about this issue, even when abortion was "illegal" the government was still issuing them to mentally handicapped people and those people who were deemed crazy, once again, abusing their power.
And for those unlucky women who were raped or just weren't ready to have children, they had to go to uncertified doctors on the side who sometimes did hack jobs on them. I try not to be too pushy on this subject but really abortion is more a health issue than a religious one anymore. People are going to do it no matter what you believe. Although I have never been in a situation that merits the decision I feel that there is always an exception to the rule, therefore everyone deserves the right to choose for themselves.
